Coordinator Maribel Jaén said that among the suggestions is one that calls for the broadcasting of sessions of the National Commission of Electoral Reforms, the entity responsible for the process.
Jaén says this will give greater transparency to the discussions and more citizen participation.
The group will also suggest proposals for political parties to have greater communication among their members and for the inclusion of members of indigenous peoples and youth organizations.
The Tribunal Electoral (TE) has called for a meeting of the commission to Jan. 8. That will be the installation ceremony for the commission, which is composed of representatives of political parties, civic societies and academia.
It has the support of the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance, the Carter Center and the United Nations Development Program.
