Some of the audits were started during the administration of former Comptroller Gioconda Torres de Bianchini. There are also ones ordered by prosecutors who are examining the actions of various community boards.
He said any audits started by the previous administration will be reviewed thoroughly.
Humbert made these statements after meeting with Attorney General Kenia Porcell.
He also announced that the newly-created Department of Forensic Audits and Research (DIAF) will be in charge of the case involving former Minister Guillermo Ferrufino, who has been accused of offences against public administration. He said that the audit will be started from scratch because there may have been flaws in the process up to this point.
After the meeting, Porcell was asked about the request by the Supreme Court for a copy of statements made about former President Ricardo Martinelli in connection with the National Assistance Program (PAN).
Porcell only said she was notified of the decision, which was made because the investigation warranted such a request.
On the other hand, she announced that, starting tomorrow, she will begin rotations among prosecutors, including the anti-corruption prosecutors.
About the encounter with Humbert, she said that it was a coordination meeting.
