The two countries are cooperating in the case.

Bolivian prosecutor Freddy Larrea Melgar held a meeting with his Panamanian counterpart, Javier Caraballo, Monday to discuss the investigation into Mossack Fonseca.

The Public Prosecutor's Office reported that this meeting was held to develop "the strategies aimed at facilitating judicial cooperation between the two countries."

Larrea Melgar said that "our country is also interested in investigating possible hiding of capital which was made possible through the creation of companies in Panama."

He said that Panama has been very open to the collaboration.

Bolivian prosecutors are investigating more than 100 companies and national stakeholders involved in this financial scandal. It was prompted by media reports coordinated by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ).
